Dumbarton Oaks Museum

The estate was donated to Harvard University in 1940 by a U.S. diplomat named Robert Woods Bliss. It houses numerous art collections, from ancient artifacts of Mesoamerica to curious items from the Byzantine period.

This museum is home to thousands of historical documents, including original signatures from the founding fathers. Visitors can view the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the United States Constitution in original form.
